🏔️Brief Introduction:

Rio Verde farm was founded in 1887 and is the oldest of the Ipanema's farm. The total area is 1566 hectares which 626 hectares are coffee plantation areas; it is located on the top of the Mantiqueira Mountains, with 32 different terroirs above 1000 meters of altitude. Their technological wet and dry milling facility processes up to 20,000 bags of 60kgs each crop, with 14,000 square meters of polished concrete patio.

Harvesting is performed in small lots, according to the ideal maturation curve of each coffee. Harvesting methods include mechanical and manual selective picking. Information on previous production is continually collected and input into the farm's database; with this historical data, a committee of experts will define the coffee processing and drying method to develop the desired taste profile. 

The entire logistics process ensures the coffee is transported to the milling structure within a maximum of six hours. The innovative approach, excellent practices & techniques of Ipanema always offer the coffee market a consistent and constant production of high-score coffee lots.
