🌿 About Kivu Coffee 

Kivu coffees come from the 1600-meter hills in Western Rwanda near Lake Kivu. After being selectively handpicked, the coffee cherries are delivered to the wet mills and undergo a meticulous hand-sorting process to ensure exceptional cup quality. The coffee is fully washed with fresh water, either tapped directly from the nearby river or from rainwater catchment systems. To ensure mucilage is 100 percent removed for consistency in the cup. The coffees in their parchment are then dried slowly on raised African beds over 14 to 20 days with shade nets on and off to regulate heat and sun rays. It is to ensure that coffee beans preserve all their intrinsic qualities.
