The Karmachi farm was established in 2019 in Gesha Karmach, five kilometers away from Gesha village in the Southwestern part of Ethiopia.
The Ethiopia Anaerobic Slow Dry (ASD) 96-Hours Karmachi Gesha is fermented for 96 hours. The cherries are removed from the fermentation tanks and laid out to dry on raised African beds with a shade cover for 20 - 30 days until the moisture level is 11%. Thus, the seeds within absorb as much of the flavors as possible.
